Laser Cut SNOWFLAKES ~ Tips and Tricks!
*The snowflakes are left in the wood base to protect the delicate tines during shipping.
*They are fragile, so handle with care!
*To remove the snowflakes from the wooden base, peel off the tape from the back side and discard. Gently tap the wood base on a table to remove the snowflakes. If you have any difficulty, use a needle or stylus to gently assist you in removing the snowflake.
*The wood template that is the base for these snowflakes could also be used as a stencil!
*If a tine should accidentally break off, simply use a little wood glue and tweezers to reattach. Jamie uses a basic wood glue, but your favorite glue should work.
*You can apply paint to the snowflakes or try just dry-brushing a little color...experiment and have fun.
*Try basecoating the snowflakes while they are in the framework - it will help prevent paint from creeping down the edges, just make sure you get them out before they dry too much.
