The new guidelines and requirements are effective as of this date.
The following information contains the requirements that shops and home studios must meet to receive a discount on our merchandise. To be sure that you qualify for a wholesale order please read all of this information carefully before calling or faxing an order. We hope you will understand that we are trying to be fair to both shops and studios as we set these new guidelines into place.

QUALIFING REQUIREMENTS

STATE RESALE CERTICATE
Please provide a copy of your State Resale or State Tax Certificate depending on what your state requires. To qualify for a retail shop discount you must have a retail store dealing with Crafts, Unfinished wood and Decorative Painting and keeps regular daily hours in a location other than your home. We will also need your business phone and your home phone number

To qualify for a studio discount please send us a copy of your State Resale or State Sales Tax Certificate and the location of your studio.

To qualify for a SDP Chapter discount you must be a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and you are listed by the SDP as a Chapter.

To qualify for Teachers discount you must teach and are a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and listed as so; plus you must have a State Sales Tax Certificate.

MERCHANDISE:
We do not have paper catalogs. All our merchandise is listed on our web site or we do have our catalog on a CD in a PDF format which you will need Adobe Reader to view it for $3.00 USD or you can go on line and download the catalog. We only discount items that we make any other items are at retail price.

RETAIL SHOPS:
MINIMUM ORDER AND DISCOUNT
A retail shop is one that is not in a home; it is a separate building in a business area and keeps normal retail hours.
Your 1st order MUST net $150.00 USD after discount and each order thereafter MUST net $50.00 after discount. (Net or Discounted items are not subject to wholesale discount). Retail Shops discount is 40% off of retail price on most items. Excluding Net items and some retail items

STUDIOS:
MINIMUM ORDERS AND DISCOUNTS 
We will sell to a studio if it is in your home; you teach in a civic building outside your home or if you travel teach and you provide us with a State Resale’s Tax Certificate.

Your 1st order MUST net $100.00 USD after discount and each order thereafter MUST net $50.00 USD after discount. (Net or discounted items are not subject to wholesale discount). Studios discount is 30% off of retail price excluding Net items and some retail items.

SDP CHAPTERS:
MINIMUM ORDERS AND DISCOUNTS
SDP Chapters can order the wood for a class being taught by a teacher. Please place your order at least 4 weeks in advance. Please be courteous and place the order in its entirety, all at one time. For our records, we will need the dates for the class and the name of the teacher. SDP Chapter discount is 25% discount off of retail price excluding Net items and some retail items.

TEACHERS:
ORDERS AND DISCOUNT FOR SEMINARS AND CLASS PROJECTS
Teachers that wish to place the order for their Seminar/ Class projects may do so. You will need to place your order 4 weeks in advance of your Seminar/Class dates. This gives us time to make certain that your order can be filled and delivered to you in time. We do try to keep a good supply of our stock on hand, however we have no way to know if / when a certain piece in our line will be requested more, and so then deplete our stock. Each of our items is handmade, to ensure quality workmanship and adequate sanding, this takes time. Teachers discount is 40% off retail price excluding Net items and some retail items.

ORDERING:
You may place your order by Phone, Fax or U.S. Mail. Please indicate the product name and item number to help ensure the correct item’s are shipped.

PAYMENT:
We accept Checks, Money Order, Master Card, Visa, Discover and Pay-Pal. We do not ship C.O.D. There will be a $30.00 charge on all retuned checks. If you would like to use Pay-Pal for your order you can print out the order form and e-mail, fax or snail mail it to us. Once we have your order ready to go you will receive an e-mail from us with the total amount due once we receive your payment your order will be shipped.

PRICES:
Prices are subject to change without notice and all orders are subject to current prices. Shipping and Handling is not included.

SHIPPING:
We ship UPS Ground for most of our shipments. We can use US Mail if you request us to ship that way. Shipping cost are estimated for continental USA only. For AK, HI, Canada, Japan and other International orders, please contact us by E-mail, Fax or Phone.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:
Shipping charges do not include any Brokerage Fees, Customs Fees or Taxes that you might be charged.

SALES TAX:
Oregon does not have sales tax, therefore we do not charge sales tax to your order.

RETURNS:
No returns or exchanges are allowed after 10 days of your invoice. Please notify us once you receive your order if there is any damage, Shortage and / or the incorrect item. No Credit will be given after 10 days from the date of invoice. If you decide you want to return any items or the shipment you will need to request a RNA number and Return form fill it out and return the paperwork along with the items in question. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING BACK BEFORE YOU GET A RNA NUMBER. COD will not be accepted and do not send return items to the P.O. BOX. There will be a 20% restocking charge for returned items. Shipping cost WILL NOT be reimbursed.
No cash refund only Credit will be issued. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.

CANCELLATIONS AND ALTERATIONS:
Valhalla Designs reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at any time including orders that contain incorrect prices or descriptions. Further, Valhalla Designs retains sole discretion in terminating or altering the terms of purchase at any time.
